Couple of new RNS bats
« on: February 25, 2016, 04:25:16 PM »

Got these two new bats from RNS

Bat 1
2-10.2
Grainy with heartwood
Duckbill toe 41 mm edge and 62 mm spine ( may be a few mm more - not easy to measure )
Picks up nice
Started knocking and its pinging well
Does have lot of indentations from knocking so its soft pressed and needs more knocking
I know the stickers and grip coloring does not match but that was because of some miss communication

Bat 2
2 -10.4
6/7 straight grains
thick toe 42 mm edge and 62 mm spine
full profile, low middle
Pings very well and mallet is not leaving many marks

Both bats came with nice padded bat cover and were shipped promptly.

Enjoy the pics

Hardik pandya was using RNS bat yesterday in T20 game. Nice to see a real batmaker stickers than something like MRF and CEAT stickers for top 4 batsmen in Indian team.

I just asked for a fuller profile for the 2nd bat. May be close to SRT.
I am also loving this bat and its ping.

Those grains though! Love that duckbill, how much were these if you don't mind me asking? Never bought a bat with more than 10 grains, think I'm missing out.
