The two best batting units in the final. Should be fun

i suspect the entire Eden Gardens will be backing WI... "home ground" advantage to windies.

Gayle never performs when it matters. Virat Kohli on the other hand always performs when his team is in trouble. Amazing cricketer this Kohli fella!

Saw WI celebration video after their semi-f victory...a bit over the top.

England has the same or better depth than the windies but do they have the mental stamina for two big games in a row?

My money is still on England.

Wouldn't worry about Gayle, as far as I can remember he doesn't score in pressure games. Can't ever recall him scoring much for any of his many franchises/West Indies in semi's or finals

I am not sure what's your point. They are celebrating like they won the final. I hope they continue drinking, partying, and staying up all hours of the day and night celebrating their victory. England will kick their behinds and do their own version of "chump-yawns chump-yawns".

This is a remarkably quite thread considering what is going to happen later today.

What are peoples hopes, wishes, dreams - predictions.

As much as I like to watch him, I hope England get Gayle early, and then chase down a healthy score, to win in the nick of time.

I think we will see mighty performance from Sammy and Bravo, Roy, Stokes and Rashid today,

I would like to see Windies bat first, Gayle hitting some big 6's, setting us a 180-200 target and England chasing it down with a few balls to spare

Don't care how, just an England win.

Also just realised how unbearable as a cricketing nation we're probably to be if we also win, ha.

I'm just happy we are in a final. Rewind 12 months to the last World Cup and the way we play has totally changed for the better.

Windies are favourites, they just have more big hitters than we do...

But you never know  :)
