If mines anything like that I'm pleased, 50 quid when you think about materials, overheads and logistic costs, must be Kashmiri willow? or GN at trying to make a decent loss to reduce their Corporation tax bill.

According to the description its 'entry level' English willow (grade 4/5?) and as I understand it the kit they sell on eBay is just gear they've had returned from stores that were overstocked. They had some decent looking 2015 prestige's for £150 recently

Looks good. Hopefully you've got a good bat hidden under that sheet.

On the listing it says advisable to further knock in for 30/60 mins.Ive just give it half hour on the toe and ran the edges on my bathtub.Had a  good response with a ball but ill find out more tomorrow at nets.(if the snow holds off)

I've finally got around to removing the grain sheet on this bat.I can't believe how easy it came off leaving no residue like a scuff sheet.Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised at what was hiding under it.Ill post a few pics later

before

after grain sheet removal

Ill probably still go with a fibre scuff sheet although i am considering just a plain scuff sheet as shes not as ugly as i first feared
