John works his magic again!
« on: March 05, 2016, 02:48:08 PM »

Sent John my broken Ton Players for repair as a chunk of the toe broke off. It was due to a friend trying to drive a Yorker in the nets. Doesn't look too bad in the pics but was a lot worse!

How it looked during repair

And how I received it back!

Absolutely delighted with the repair and refurbish. As always, John kept me updated along the way and ensured the repair was up to his high standards.

I know there isn't any guarantee on such repairs however even there's still life in the bat and hopefully will be used as a wet bat

Thank you John!

Top job, that looked completely wrecked! Question is how long will it hold? At least you have given yourself a fighting chance of using it again.

The bat was worth saving for whatever extra life and can get out of it so we shall see how many rainy days it can cope with!

Not yet - will take it straight into a match this season. With the way the weathers looking, will probably be the first match of the season!
