Best value repair/refurb service?
« on: March 07, 2016, 05:35:59 PM »

Looking to get two old bats refurbished, including one re-balancing job.

Nothing major.

Can anyone recommend a service they've used?

Don't want to spend a fortune!

Thanks

Bat a bit. Bowl a bit. Not too bad at point either!

Currently got 4 bats away with Ryan Kelsall. Great to deal with, answers all queries promptly and gives honest opinions, That included saying 2 were 'beyond saving' to which I disagreed and he was happy to carry out the work regardless. He seems very thorough in his work, looking forward to getting them back at the end of the week.

They are hardly taboo. A few people are upset they sell some bats without warranty that might not last very long.

They're still a company after all and should be allowed to do what they want to. At least they are honest enough to admit everything to the buyer beforehand.

With regards to refurbs, find out if there are any that you can drive to. Posting the bat there and back is an expensive addition that you could save.

Eclipse all sports. Good value for money as I got my bat done recently.
