Seen quite a few Asian bats break due to willow dryness agree  though along with James Laver best batmakers are in the UK.

Mine are going strong , knock on wood ...

Which situation is worse : bat breaking too soon or bat lasting forever and taking over a year to open up? I will happily take soft pressed performer any day. Willow dryness can be addressed, no problem.

I used to think that UK/NZ made bats were better than Pak made bats. In my experience (after wasting thousands of dollars, I have learned) that is not the case at all.

As the bats are all blank for the test this is theoretically avoided now

They should let us forum nerds on the judging panel we'd still figure it out.

"Those look like SS shoulders"

"Nah TK doesn't use that style of binding"

I'm very happy with the bat very happy indeed 18 grains all sapwood and the 5 grain DW and others Whopped it...

Thats good im glad yours are lasting and its your preference which you prefer, but the choice you quote is not a choice. You dont need to wait a year for a UK bat to open up...any good uk bat manufacturer knows the right advice to give after you have bought the bat.every batmaker i have met wants it to work for you and HELP you get runs. Its not just a sale.

David Warner shape

I thought the DW shapes were @procricket B3 designs or am I getting confused?

Just to clairfy The bats he sent were blank they would have  had different stickers when sold.

The Airstream dropped to 12th... Interesting with John's selection of bats for the event.

I've started using Kudos 2s this year. The pressing is what sets them apart. Not sure what Keeley is doing down at Newbery these days but his new formula is definitely worth a go!

Only bought my AOC issue for the gear review, but hardly told me anything I didn't already know. I've whacked it up on eBay to try and get rid!

Rookie mistake to buy the magazine, I just go to Smiths when the misses is shopping and read it there. No need to spend 4.50 on the magazine plus it means I don't have to look at womens clothing!
