Helmet Review Shrey Masterclass VS Masuri Vision
« on: March 27, 2016, 07:22:37 PM »

Used for 4 Net sessions hour long each.

Shrey

Lighter by some distance than the Masuri and the feel is more of the old fashioned feel to it like my older shrey shown in pictures being the inner fit is exactly the same.

The view is ok but it feels far away from my face as with the new regulations but a decent view.

People talk about build quality i have no issue with mine at all for me the sticking could be slightly better but the inner of the helmet is very comfy and it is a snug fit with the 2 different size headbands.

Enough professionals use the lid to know it does the job and more you could say the top few batsman in the world.

The subliminated look is quality and the future if you ask me.

Overall Light compact feeling lid which has the feel of the older lid but with the new regulations a very good lid takes time to get used to.

Masuri

The view is as good as the Shrey no doubt and the stitching is top quality. The new Halo system allows a tight fit too however mine kept slipping down a notch so i had to keep tightening it up.

Helmet is comfy but you feel a little inclosed but i felt that too with the shrey. I like the way the back system moves with your head so not just rigid this is a nice touch.

You get the little touches like the yellow ear retainers however i noticed small white marks the seems which tend to show there the red dye did not go maybe.

Overall

Good lid no doubt hard to choose between the two no doubt i'm leaning towards the lighter helmet as i feel after a  hour it started to feel the weight maybe me though.

Enough pro use this helmet.

Finally my old helmet i still love this the blue shrey is the old school lid and i can feel it fit like a glove.

What i will say is it does take time to get used to both lids and you can see why some may go back to the old school lids because the grill seems so far from the head.

Did you also try each respective neck guard? If so, how did you find them in terms of quality and fit. As far as I'm aware, it comes as standard on the Shrey but is an optional extra on the Masuri.
