CA cricket bats
« on: March 28, 2016, 11:04:03 AM »

Hey guys,

Has anyone ever bought any bats on www.sialkotshop.com? How reliable are they and the quality of the bats they sell?

Also has anyone ever visited Cricket Direct shop in Hertfordshire or ordered bats online from www.cricketdirect.co.uk? How good are the bats?

I am after CA bats ;) They looks cheaper on these two places than anywhere else.

Edit, sorry the flag was irrationally irritating me!

Cricket direct are notoriously slow at responding to emails and even dispatching.
As a general rule of thumb, ask for images of the actual bat before you commit to purchasing it.

Is cricket direct the one everyone has a horror story about?

As for sialkotshop.com some of those prices are straying into the "if it looks too good to be true" territory

I'll echo the above comment, for CA go to Asad at @Uzi Sports

Don't buy from Cricket direct. Sialkotshop seems to be reliable. My friends have bought from that.

Having one of the Uzi Sports CA 5000 bats from Asad's special cupboard, then tapping it up and comparing it to the 15000 and 12000 CA bats - then finding that the 5000 is as responsive (which was a shock) then I would mirror what others have said!

Do the CA bats all have round handles? Don't think I've picked one up for years

yes, either go for a retailer with a great rep, or someone who shows you exact pics before you buy.

I recently purchased CA bats from zedsports dot com. I was sent a lot of pictures of the bats and they were sent through DHL without any issues. After trying all the expensive English bats, I would say these bats are true value for money in terms of performance.
