Unless JS Wright changes their cleft dimensions, very few companies will be able to do it. You basically need cleft suppliers outside of JS Wright, which is a very small percentage of the market.

Kippax,  H4L cut their own clefts, B3 has access to oversized clefts as well

I imagine @procricket B3 could sort something out in a similar profile and I did challenge @Red Ink Cricket to have a go.

GN, big bats, have a proper bow and perform better.

JS Wright pretty much has a monopoly on cleft business . Only other players that I know of are Kippax and H4L who produce big clefts. GN is providing their customers a great service by producing these types of bats. I will have one please!

Re watched the video with Warner replica in hand.

The 50+ doesn't seem anywhere near as bowed as the Warner.

The 50+ has the full knob on the end of the handle, the Warner doesn't as its a super short handle (ssh)

Apart from that not much else to say looking at a video.

^ That is probably because it is not a Warner replica. I do think it will have a good bow - my opinion.

Also, Usman Khawaja replicas will be released by GN. They just look lovely!

Once I've cleared the orders I have I'm going to give it a bash and see what I can do

Sample I looked at was 2.15, pick was good but still a heavy bat, I thought all the Warners I have seen picked up better.

I would love to see Matt attempt to make some thing similar, it would be an absolute beast. It would probably need registering as a lethal weapon.

I wonder if they are going to release any other exotic bats in their new range?

Not trying to be alarmist or anything, but very soon there is going to be a serious injury (or a fatality) on the field thanks to these bats. Either the umpire at the bowler's end or the bowler is going to cop one hit straight at them and they won't have time to react. There has to be some kind of size restriction on the edges/spine of a bat. These things are enormous. Would I like to try one in the nets? Absolutely yes, just to see what it's like batting with something that Warner would take to the crease, but surely bats can't get much bigger, can they?
