Hello all,

My season is about to start and I am in need of a new pair of gloves, to replace my SS tournament gloves. What is a not so expensive pair of gloves that is soft and doesn't need force to wrap hands around the bat handle ? Needless to say I want something that offers good protection. I have got small hands, so if the palm material is thin that would be a bonus.

Thanks in advance!

My puma karbon are very, very supple, my affinity gloves are very supple, my Salix pod arma are quite supple. My GM 303 sausage are stiff.
They are all youth size.

B&S clearance gloves. Probably the best gloves out there for the price. :)

I got a pair of the splits, and they don't seem to be too chunky at all like some other splits can feel!

Seconded. The Assegai's are an absolute bargain at £24.99. Top notch gloves.

Bought GN Prestige gloves for this season and they've been brilliant in the nets, highly recommended, very soft leather palms and the protection is good enough for the Test players. Not bad for the £32 I paid.

Completely agree with this. Prestige is my glove of choice this year and they are class!

You can also try BAS players edition. Very soft leather palms, light and durable.
