Well that's the advantage of buying in India. Same SS Maximus was sold by popular US retailer for US$ 399 about six months ago. Here we have someone buying at half the price !!

Well what I have seen that, outside India the same bats are sold at Maximum Retail Price and may be a little more that is also after discount. In India we get bats from retail store with at least 20% off and if a person is insistent then they can get a little more discount. However I didn't get these bats from a retail shop. They are from SS factory and I bought them at wholesale price with the help of some local contacts. Others won't be able to get them at this price easily. On the down side we cannot get hands on custom made bats like H4L, and brands like blackberry, b3, blankbats here in India
About bat's performance, I have played with professional and it was very responsive from first ball. Hit a long six (nearly 85mtrs+) over mid wicket effortlessly which was my first stroke which scored from this bat, and I am/was very satisfied with the bats performance. Since then I am failing with form. Another friend tried this bat and have since hit 9 sixes including an inning of 60+ runs with six 6's in 22-23 balls. So pro is delivering the promise.
Maximus is still in the bag and will take it out in big matches if I get chance to play one
I also bought some Softs and a bat from BDM factory but there is no section to share pics for BDM
