Hello guys,
Has anyone ever tried lower range cricket bats from RS Robinson Sports like Rage or from Kook like Cadejo 500 or Instinct 500?
How good are they? Worth buying?

I have found some really good bats in the lower end of the market most off the time it's just about how well the bat is pressed I had a bat with five grains playing better than one with twelve so it's worth looking around that's for sure

I find bats are much like women...the lower grade ones try so much harder.

Nothing wrong with lower grade bats. For bats around $150 you can get good quality.

Got some MSR bats recently, and for the price, they have to be some of the best value for money bats on the market. Just gotta look for a little while! Lower graded willow isn't the big issue, the issue tends to be bad handles. If you get a good brand which has good pressing and handle quality/fitting, their lower grades will tend to be excellent.

Cadejo 500 is a grade 3 willow and would make an excellent practice bat. It has an unique profile and its generally on the heavier side. I have used a Cadejo 1100 from a team member and it was a fantastic bat. At 2b12oz, it was quite heavy for me but straight bat shots felt really good. I don't know how to explain ... if you hit the ball it stays hit and it does travel the distance.  If you can handle the weight go for Cadejo ...

Make sure to get the UK model of Cadejo. Indian model of Kook Cadejo has a very different profile.

I have used a G3 Robinsons (Caribee I think), it was pressed pretty soft, so took quite a bit of knocking in, but it was very, very pingy. If I had a UK source of Robinsons bats, I think I would consider one again.

I believe @Buzz had one too.
