Before and after
« on: April 02, 2016, 04:27:19 PM »

First league game tomorrow and it's all about the white ball over here in the USA so the spray paint comes out.  In our league they also use a different ball at each end like in real proper one day cricket!!!!

Nice job bro, only criticism I'd make is that you didn't mask over the SS logos before spraying, that would have looked really smart (especially as they already have a black background)

Good paint job.

Have you seen clad4pads? Lot of white padders use them instead of painting or buying a separate pair.

I use white aero P1s though against white ball. People are fine with them.

Thought about clads but thought I'd go for the pro look!!!!! Pads were cheap as chips so I'm ok with that.

I should have thought about leaving the SS logo yeah, I will learn from this mistake!

In Atlanta our league starts today!

One thing I do not lack I'd self belief...I totally believe I'll be out first ball lbw!

Which brand of spray paint you used? Paint on mine is kinda sticky even after a week.

I think you did a great job and like that you covered the logo!

I've seen many pros wear clads too, including Dwayne bravo in the BBL last winter

Anyway, the way you have painted them is really top notch! You have the matte finish which makes it look like they were done in a factory, rather than by yourself. Nice one!

It's not the paint. It's the pads. Some pads are just not very good at taking paint, and it also feels very sticky. I've had this happen to me, applying the same paint to two different sets of pads.

I HATE using Clads, always buy coloured pads. I think I have four pairs, one being SS Gladitors (Green), Puma Iridium (Maroon), Kookburra CCX (Black) and BAS Players (Black).
