To be fair - this simply looks like you have fallen over and burst!

We managed to reach the quarter finals of the T20 comp, our 1sts and 2nds are 2nd in both leagues so hopefully both sides can secure promotion and compete in the top league next season

Been a miserable season for almost everyone at my club, tomorrow I'm opening the batting since everyone else has tried and failed this season. To put in context how bad it is, we haven't had an opening partnership get into double figures all season long. Haven't won a game all season and every team so looks forward to playing us that we even had an away team bring their own covers to our ground to ensure the game could go ahead.

Here's hoping I can do what everyone else has failed to do and get us off to a good start.

Yeah cheeky really, but can't say I blame them. I wish I could face our bowling too.

Just block the crap out of the ball, they'll bowl you something awful at some point and put it away. If you're bad, then just bat for yourself and it may even help the team... Can't be worse if you're getting beat anyway

Got the first win with my new side today although in slightly odd circumstances. For once we won the toss, bowled first and my figures were 10 overs 7 maidens 5 runs and 1 wicket. I bowled 6 of the 7 maidens at the same player who simply refused to play a shot in anger. Opposition scored 121 but for the loss of only 5 wickets so I was a bit puzzled by this chap's approach given I was bowling 3rd change. Anyhow we knocked it with 8 overs to spare.

Played for my thirds again this weekend, we bowled them out for 206, I picked up 5-49 off 15. So two 5fers in 6 days.
We then chased it down in 35 overs for the loss of 3. Lovely 20 points

Cracking game of cricket today. Although I did nothing.

We won the toss, and despite the team saying we was to chase, our skipper had a brain fade and said we'd bat when he won........

Oh well. So fast outfield, nice dry pitch with very little bounce.

We totalled 289 for 8 from our 46 overs. (Me 15 our number 3 made 110, rest shipped in)

Oppos started like a train, 120 for 2 of 15.

We hen bowled tight and got a few wickets. And it came down to 40 needed of last ten. Which then because 20 of last 5 with only 1 of there batsmen left and a rail ended in.

2 tight overs got it close, but there skipper got on strike and teed off.

Lost with 2 overs to go as they went to 295 for 6.

Good game. Played in good spirits.

Had a shoite day
Out second ball to a crap lofted drive and broke my finger dropping one in the slips
Umpires were the worst we've had yet, just when I thought they couldn't get any worse
Think I've had enough of league cricket
I'm too old, too brittle, too lazy and really can't be arsed anymore

I hate cricket

I can't decide if I'd get more pleasure from having a bonfire with my kit or chucking it off a bridge somewhere...
