My Visit to BDM factory Meerut- India
« on: April 04, 2016, 02:20:11 PM »

Dear Members,

Visited BDM Meerut, India last month and picked up 2 beauties. Both of them are grade 2 bats weighing 2.11 - 2.13 on the weighing scale and good pick up. All together it was an "Alice in Wonderland" experience for me as this is the first time I visited a factory to pick my bat up. Aditya Mahajan the current owner and he was very helpful in selecting the bat and then further reducing the weight as per our liking.

Cheers and Enjoy the pics!

Lovely bats! How much did you pay for these bats?

Hi Internal Training,

These costed me around 120 pounds per bat and are retailed at 140-150 in Bangalore. One of them is a double wood bat. It's not approved by ICC but okay for local 20-20 competitions.

Is that another term for a laminate?

I don't know him but from his posts I would assume it is something that Mr @FattusCattus gets when he sees a nice bat!

Hi All,

Yes laminate and double wood are the same terms. The second bat is laminate one.
