The amount of off field kit he asked for was quite staggering!

No Adidas stickers and blank gloves for KP during the warm-up. Surely Adidas wouldn't let him go out on a huge global stage like this without their branding? All but officially confirmed for me now.

Also wonder how much interest Adidas now have in cricket since the Manchester United deal We know they wont be sponsoring England

Seems to be quite keen to get exposure on the County scene...
Sponsoring the Curran brothers at Surrey, Chesney Hughes, Alex Wakeley to name a few.

You'd have thought KP would gain more exposure than all them put together! No one watches county cricket !

Alex Wakely's with Newbery this season.

And to further counter my own point Jason Roy moved back to Slazenger so perhaps they don't care about Cricket so much...
But bringing out shoes like the SL22 boost makes it seem like they do... Hmmmm  :o

Footwear will always be their lead product in the cricket market

Marketing is a funny game, I think. But how many kids want to 'be like KP' now? Probably not the amount to justify Adidas paying the huge amount he'd have asked for.

Maybe going the same way as Asics & Nike? Money in the shoes as they control the manufacturing process but no money in stickering Bats and softs?

It seems that 3/4 of all players currently wear adidas shoes so maybe they think that's enough exposure as they need

It won't sell them many cricket bats!

Very few shops I have been in actually sell adidas bats anyway
The biggest selection of them I've seen is EBay!

No stickers on his match bat right now. I'm sure a big indian company would sign him up in no time

2016 Adidas Stickers are very minimalistic! I guess this confirms it.

Was never much of a fan of the Libro or Pellara stickers anyway so I won't miss them.
