No one else going to say it's the most over rated tournament going ?? Local Indian players being the standard down and a lot of overseas there for the pay check it seems.. Tbf, there aren't any high quality 2020 comps around

I am from India and yet I hate IPL. Its just over kill and there are very few talented young Indian players.
More often than not its the same players putting up the show.

This continual dew factor is taking the skill away from the tournament. Every side wins the toss and bowls first. They need to bring the start times forward so skill determines the result not the weather.

Probably the difference between the IPL and other leagues. Only in the IPL would you find 2 of the best limited over players putting on a masterclass. Never get tired watching kohli and AB

Virat Kohli produced yet another batting masterclass today, registering his first T20 century - incredible in its own right as he had a staggering 42 fifties without getting to three figures. Unfortunately for Kohli thought RCB where outgunned by Baz McCullum and the other Gujarat boys. The South African Chinaman looks a bit decent.

IPL is treated as entertainment rather than sport by Indian govt. They charge entertainment tax on BCCI for organizing this event. BCCI being BCCI, would want to make sure their revenue is maximized. So the start times are always delayed to start at 7 - 8 PM local time. It's the only way they are going to bring in huge crowds.
