I am trying over night oats with chia seeds, greek yogurt, milk, banana and nuts 1.30 hr before game and 4 - 6  bananas along with 1 gallon of water during the course of the game. This seems to work so far.

Do you not find that this doesn't taste very nice when compared to bacon sandwiches and stuff?

Full English for breakfast, black pudding and all, packet of pork scratching and a pint of lager for lunch, p*ss weak squash through out the game and as much cake and tea as you can stomach at tea. Jobs a goodun!!!

I'm going to try porridge for breakfast tomorrow, probably with some chopped dates and banana with OJ. Then I think some eggs on toast before I go to the ground just to keep me feeling full until tea. I'll also be using a couple of caffein carbo gel sachets before keeping and batting. Plus as much weak electrolyte drink as I can drink throughout the day, in small doses.

If that doesn't work, next week a fry up and red bull.

Going with banana and flapjack for tomorrow's game, usually get knackered half way through keeping so this should be perfect.

Can't resist a trip to the breakfast caff in the morning though!!

I normally go with porridge with berries for breakfast and then scrambled eggs with toast or avocado about 15 minutes before I set off with a banana just before I go out to bowl. Drinking lots of water throughout the week too.

hah....I wish I am in England. Just imagine eating all that good stuff and playing in hot and humid conditions :( :(

like @harryg mentioned, drinking water throughout the week makes lot of difference.

You could try electrolyte specific energy drinks like Nuun. They replenish electrolytes well. Gatorade has way too much sugar otherwise that is a last minute option also.

2 x Eggs and Sossies on toast (many food groups)
1 x Some sort of pastry

2 x bananas before the game

Much sarnie / cake / hot beverage during tea

8 x lagers after game

1 x kebab on way home

DELICIOUS & NUTRITIOUS!!
