If you are very bothered just carry the bat separatly in its bat cover.

I have a BAS Bat, I'm gonna put the handle of the bat on the same side of the helmet and see if that works

put the bat between the (main pad) and the (pad straps) in a bat cover. surelly that would do the job if yoou know what i mean.
