Laver Butterfly

Anyone had a chance to get hold of a Laver Butterfly?
If so, can you let me know how is it?

I have to say I don't think it is their strength, they are ok, but not in the same category as their normal bats, which are fantastic, also they take even longer to play in, probably 18 months to 2 years. Further for me the best maker of butterfly willow bats is Paul Aldred, they are sublime, and I would say of the many butterfly willow bats I have had. His are head and shoulders above the rest, and somehow for such hard timber play well from the beginning.
Hope that helps.

Just to say they are still beautifully balanced, made and finished, like all L & W bats, but take a lot of patience and even then I still prefer the performance of the Aldred ones.

Thanks Bats_Galore,

I currently have 2 lavers, reserve and special reserve and also a butterfly from Aldred. I reside in US and I was looking for the cheapest option to have a bat as per my favorite profile. What you said is correct, Lavers take time to open up, currently I use my reserve as my match bat and I don't want to change it for any bat. Its that good. Will look for B&S  like @Sivlar suggested or look at Laver Private bin as they reduced prices for this month.

+1 on @Bats_Galore suggestion. Aldred butterfly definitely hold up very well. Join his FB group and you can reach out to him here on the forum as well. He always has some sort of deal in his FB group, you will definitely find a good deal there !

Did anyone see the L&W Butterfly that was on their Facebook? Had the same issue of the toe being different widths as on a previous thread. Not convinced by them at the moment.

@sanredrose

Already have butterfly from Aldred. Its great bat, but not getting enough confidence to use it in a match. have it for about 2 years now. So, placed an order for Laver butterfly (As been using lavers for 5 years now) for $300 including shipping which is way cheaper than any other butterfly from the forum out there. will post pics & review once I receive it.
