Roller mesh sightscreen
« on: April 23, 2016, 10:41:29 PM »

Does anybody have these at their club?
My club are looking at new screens, and looking at these on line they come in £1k+

I reckon I can build the box section for less than a couple of hundred, and the replacement screen roller section is just over £100.

If anybody does have these, is there any chance I could have some pics of the roller mechanism?, or if anybody has any thoughts also appreciated

(No Swearing Please)! Forgot! I'll probably end up there during the week so will take a couple of pictures of the base, the sight screen itself is 2 scoffolding-like poles with a mesh cloth wrapped around the poles. Does that make sense?

The base is a H shape with the wheels on the | | parts (axles sort of) and 2 holes where the - part meets the vetical, this is for the scaffolding poles to fit in to

Make sense?

Ah ok, didn't realise you had them mate. I'll pop over sometime and have a gander.

Thanks @Woodyspin but a club very close to me have them, so I'll pop over there. Cheers for the offer though

That sounds rank! What the devil have you been upto?!

I only went to the one session, twice as many people turned up then expected. Love a good turn out me.

I'll let the new skipper know you'll be fighting fit!
