Fielding Gloves

Has anyone used these before?

In-fact, I hadn't heard of them until today when a new guy put them on in training for catches.

Wondering if they are worth buying since I did break my thumb last year with catches.

I used the aero ones last season and they were good for long sessions.
Prevented sore hands from taking loads of Skyer's etc.

If you did your thumb though they might not be a lot of help, they're more cushioning for the Palm where you take the ball than supportive.

Know quite a few people who used them through the winter. If you're doing regular hard sessions they help you train longer. GN seems to be the populat choice.

Hm, was curious as I have only seen one person use them.

Seems as if they are a few of you on here that do too. Have you ever used them in matches and are they easier to take catches with or are they more of a hinderance?

You're not allowed to use them in matches but they do help a little bit in training. Kind of annoying to throw with them on though.

Just as I expected!

Got some severe bruises after yesterday's training session. Might invest in a pair now

Got a hotspot third game of the season last year, so invested in some Canterbury catching gloves. And means I can spend longer practicing and helpful for early season when its cold and hands are soft can slowly work into catching work.
