Not sure I even really want to think about the damage caused over the winter. I can say I am likely to have a good chance of competing at the other end of the spectrum unfortunately. Not that I regret the purchases, but even a mental totting up rather than writing down, and you start to realise it might be a little over the top...

Literally bought nothing so far, although in the next hour I am leaving to head to my favourite little kit cave with some team mates to pick up a few last minute things

Nothing big over the winter - towards the end of last season I bought an Affinity Duffle from Vitas (great service and a bargain) to replace the duffle that I had been using which had a strap tear off. I also bought a sinister matt black lid from Ayrtek with the standard fitting method (I liked the idea of the air version but found that I couldn't get on with it due to having a pointy head). Just post season I bought a pair of youth size Ayrtek gloves - superb.
Over winter my only purchase was an Alice Band.

I don't currently own it all (thankfully), that's just what I've bought since the last season ended.
Some items have been sold on, given away, broken or swapped in the process.

What I will say about affordability, it's all about priorities. Dumping your girlfriend saves a fortune and food is for wimps

I too wouldn't dare to list my recent purchases. There had not been a lot but I have spent way too much on new gear than I should have in the last 6-7 months.

Major chunk of my spending - on purchases from or through the Forum sponsors  .

I am not even eligible to post on this thread ! I purchased a lot of gear in the last 12 months and right now i keep finding receipts or order summary at various places in my house. My wife has been giving me a hard time with all the extra gear and i have taken a resolution to not buy any more gear ..  , lets see how long this one lasts !
