BAS Bow 20
« on: May 03, 2016, 04:10:12 PM »

Purchased this recently from Procricshop ( USA) Bas Bow 20 20 which has Dolphin Profile , Bat weights around 2.10.5 i guess due to the profile shape it feels more like 2.9. Even though it has number of grains to my liking it pings crazy and responsive even up the stickers. Edges are around 40mm and very thick toe . I wish the handle is little more thicker to my liking but adding second grip might fix that .Service from procricshop as always been excellent and their in house machine knocking helps to get the knocking started . Here are the pictures

@ursmasti - Very nice bat. Seems like you picked the other dolphin profile BOW 20-20 which Zoheb had in stock :D !

If you look into the handle you will notice that there is a chevron grip (gold color in my case) and bow scale grip is on the top. So its already double gripped ! Imagine how thin the handle must be ??

That's a pretty unpleasant thing to say. If you don't like it don't say anything. The guy has spent his hard earned money on a bat, and is happy, seems unnecessary at best to make a comment like that.

It's not unpleasant. It's my honest opinion. It's better having honest feedback than saying every bat looks like a g1++. I'm sure the bat performs like all bas bat's do and ping's amazing

Well maybe you should have mentioned those things and that along with objection in the first place. Also the bow t20 isn't their top line model, so wouldn't be expected to be G1+.

Storm in a teacup, or what?

I thought the idea of a forum was to share thoughts and opinions. It seems the second you do that somebody gets upset these days...

The face looks pretty enough to me, and the back of the bat has a bit of character. I quite like that, but not everyone is a fan of blemished willow. My only criticism (if you can call it that) is the tape on there doesn't do it for me! I prefer either edge tape or a strip across the face if you're going to do that, but that's just me and my OCD about how a bat looks :-[
