England will be batting tonight (weather permitting)

Surely we'd enforce the follow on?

I thought he was back with them since last year, I'm sure I saw him in the UAE with Slaz and maybe even during the ashes.

EDIT - Looks like he's been there since the start of last year @smilley792  http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/steven-finn-of-england-walks-from-the-nets-during-a-nets-news-photo/461703824

Can just remember him being with woodworm. Happily admit to not paying attention to the big and fairly often injured tailender

Modern captains just don't, might as well get some more batting practice in and let the test last 4 days

Finn's probably got it in his sponsorship contract that the deal ends if he drops out of the England side, hence the changing every 3 months!

Was NB 2 summers ago, although im sure he probably got more shoes than he does bats, pads and gloves combined.

Has anyone ever wondered if large sums for bat sponsorship ever causes any issues in the dressing room?   lets say Joe Root get £300k per year, Steve Finn/Mark Wood, gets £25k per year...

they will be on slightly different salary I would think as that depends on the amount of caps,etc.....but what about sponsorship...they probably all accept it as it is, it's just me thinking out loud

I don't think he's ever been with NB, I know Wood definitely is.

Right but Jimmy's made advertising money, and Root and Jimmy have achieved more than Finn, so that's why. Be better, get paid more. Luckily it is actually at least in part, linked to performance, Root's not the most photogenic bloke in the world, is he?

Tell you what, SL seem to be struggling with Vince's height/bounce... Bring on Finny!
