See ya Compdog, thanks for coming. A few more years in the wilderness for you.

I'm not a big fan of foot triggers, but jeez! The ball is half way down the wicket before he's worked out whether he's a batsman or an onion.

Echoing the calls for Borthwick at 3 for the Pakistan series.

Hohoho this did make me chuckle! Hope you don't mind if I steal it to add to my repertoire of cricket related put downs.

The sad part about it is I'm almost 100% certain he thinks he's an onion.

You're very welcome to use it, but I've paraphrased it from Jeremy Clarkson, so all plaudits must got to JC, if he's reading of course...

Getting back on topic, YJB going well again, is there anything he can't do? Apart from Sudoku, obviously.

If Borthwick was really the next cab of the rank, he should have played this Test. You'd be pretty stiff to come in against Amir and Co...

Doesn't normally bother England they started and then discarded Michael Carberry's test career based on facing a furious Mitchell Johnson with a new ball.

Just seen the fixtures for the Pakistan Series, looking forward to the 4th ODI at Headingley, very long memories us northerners, they'll be merciless if he plays.

Amir copped a fair amount of verbals when he toured new Zealand, didn't really make much difference TBH...

Vince and Compton to go.

Borthwick and Westley to come in

The uncertain positions are 2, 3 and 5. Hales at 2 is ok at the moment as he has had some success.
Vince at 5 has a good technique but it is very early days yet - give him a few chances to see how he does!! IMO number 5 shouldn't be up for discussion for a while yet. The only position up for discussion is number 3 as Compton is on shocking form so shouldn't be anywhere near the team at the moment.

I agree. Compton should be the only player up for discussion at the moment. Wholesale changes are very rarely the right way to do things.
