Keeping Inners
« on: May 19, 2016, 08:28:50 PM »

Just curious as to what inners people use?
Cotton?
Chamois?
Padded?
Unpadded?
More than 1 pair?
Dry?
Wet?
Any combination of the above?

Just picked some up off John at Woodstock. Half chamois which seem to be very padded, probably the best ones I've had so far.

i wear padded half chamois with velcro wrist.

i find my hands sweat too much in full padded chamois

brand wise i have worn quite a few and haven't ever noticed much difference - currently wearing dukes

Question from a non keeper - why would you wet your inners before putting them on? Doesn't that defeat the object of them ???

I wear a pair of batting inners beneath full chamois inners with additional padding taped to the inner with the aid of fabric strapping as mark turner is the club pro and he still bowls a good 85-90 mph

GN omega xrd inners, I have the gloves so made sense to me to match up. I really like them. I keep them dry, by the end of the innings they are a little damp. I let them dry naturally at home. Used the same pair for nearly a season now.

Hiw do you guys go about cleaning your inners? Little sceptical of throwing my P1s in the washing machine. Hand wash the best way of going?

I don't wash mine as they are full chamois but the cotton batting inners I use underneath them I just simply wash them in the washing machine
