During the last game of my football season (~5 weeks ago) i clashed knees with one of the oppositions strikers, and within a day or so i had a lot of bruising around the side of my left knee.
This turned into the side of my knee swelling up whenever i walked/ran for any period of time, i had no pain in it and it didn't effect me in any way.
The swelling up continued until a couple of weeks ago, however now i have a hard lump that feels like bone on the side of my knee which looks like a small swelling. Once again it doesn't hurt to run, but it's obviously quite unnerving to see this on the side of my knee. I'm going to see a physio next week, but was just wondering if anyone has had anything similar before/ knows what it could be.
