Pre made bats
« on: May 25, 2016, 02:33:45 PM »

Ive got a number of pre made bats in the workshop which are available for sale. The ones below are pretty much ready and just need final finishing before sending out. I do have a number of others which need sanding etc, including a couple of academy/ custom sized ones (lengths approx 32.5-33" with full width face).  The last image shows the profile of the left hand bats slightly better. These are not knocked in but can be for an additional£15. UK postage is £11, international can be quoted depending on location.

I will try and answer any questions but with a new born baby, im going to struggle to answer specifics on edge and spine sizes. all bats are a good size for their weight and respond really nicely

from left to right. weights as pictured, please allow an additional 2-2.5 oz approx for grip, stickers and scuff sheet. colour of stickers can be picked by the buyer from the usual red, white or black

X3- 2.7 £110 sold

X2- 2.7 £150   38mm edges, 60mm spine

X2 - 2.7 £150  35mm edges, 62mm spine sold

X1 - 2.8 £185. 36mm edges, 60mm spine sold

X1- 2.9 £185   40mm edges, 65mm spine sold

X2 - 2.8 £150. 35mm edges, 62mm spine Sold

X2 - 2.4( harrow)£115

Congrats on the baby BTW!

Thanks.

All sh with the exception of the Harrow. Depending on how quickly you are looking to get one, I'm sure I could make you something up in a long blade to suit your specs

Not in this batch but I have a couple of smaller ones in the workshop that need finishing so could be made into a size 6. Pm the specs and I'll see what I can do

Off the top of my head, a size 6 is about an inch shorter I think and a touch thinner

John, now that Red Ink is being dealt online by a third party, do you have any plans to stop dealing directly with customers directly within the Forum and outside the Forum? I am a bit concerned and you should be knowing why!!!

I'm not sure John has stated that Red Ink is being dealt by a 3rd party now, are you referring to The Cricket Boutique @avkrish

Yes @liscon12, I did not see it mentioned anywhere but just thought I should check with John. I have got a couple of unconfirmed orders with him and am waiting for suitable clefts.

From what I can gather The Cricket Boutique is just store which buys from John just like any other shop who buys in brands (like Vitas buying GM bats to sell in there shop). TCB stock other gear from Aldred, Charlie French and Jedi so I wouldn't worry at all, are you able to confirm this @Red Ink Cricket

Hi Gents.

No need to worry. As you mention @liscon12 The Cricket Boutique is indeed a retail outlet for lots of handmade brands (including Red Ink). John is still doing his thing and will continue to do so as far as I am aware.

I hope that helps clear things up for you.

P.S - I am The Cricket Boutique.  ;)

Cheers

As already mentioned in this thread, TCB are an online shop that Red Ink deal with to help spread the word about the brand and what we offer. I have no plans to remove myself from the forum in either a personal or brand capacity so there's no need to worry. I'm just making sure those outside the forum have the best opportunity to find out about us as we are having some difficulties with our website and the rebuild.

You can still contact me for any bat related queries but it's also worth checking out what TCB have in stock as they have some absolutely beauties there.
