Had a quick chat with the guy who runs their twitter account a while back. Apparently they bought the names & sticker designs etc but are getting the bats made by someone else - he said Andy wasn't involved at all. I asked if they were UK made but the silence was deafening.

Judging by the bound grip tape it looks like they are imported from Pakistan.

I played against East Oxford in the rain on Saturday and a few of their players had them. they all had a distinctive Pakistani-made look and feel.

Agreed. Multi-coloured grip tape always a giveaway

It's certainly lost the style it had before. Softs look pretty standard designs and don't fit in with the stickers

Are they being sold from a shop, or is it just online?

Had one that was awful that Andy used in a net and agreed was awful, and then got a Hades which I went up and watched him make for me. That is a lovely bat!

Can't comment on the bats but enjoyed reading  Andys write ups and watching his vids never really knew what caused SAF Bats demise.

Andy was a decent batmaker - I even made one at his workshop under his guidance of course!!!
I do have a very nice original (UK) made one which is not particularly large but it is a fabulous bat.
I did hear that the quality of some of the later sticks wasn't as good as some of the fantastic earlier ones, but only used a couple so can't comment on that!
