Get Padded Up Grips
« on: June 03, 2016, 06:49:58 AM »

Hi guys, new to the forum as a member but have been a long time viewer. Please direct me if there is already a topic on this,

I have been getting my grips from local sports store in AUS, but stumbled across Get padded up.co.uk and there prices look good.

Can anyone tell me what they quality is like or a better alternative would be much appreciated,

Cheers

The last time I bought grips from there mate they were all like Harrow sized grips and didn't fit on any of my sticks properly. Also found them to be really thin.

I'd say you'd be better just sticking with where you get them from now, might be slightly pricier but will be better quality.

Bought a snake grip from there recently, perfectly good quality I found.

Mate my suggestion is when amart have their end of season sale grab a heap generally at about 50 - 60 % off, ends up being about $3.5 each for kooka/GN or spartan grips

Grips just don't last a long as they used to do they

Thanks for the replies so far guys. Like the idea of amart's end of season sale for the grips, more just wanting to buy in bulk however but appreciate the response

More latex content for a softer feel grip, you can still get the good old rubber diamond grip that will last yonks.

Have had a few off of them over the last season or so; mainly just plain white chevron, but never had any issues.

Never new that either, very interesting, i personally dont like the feel of diamond but suppose thats the difference, i tend to have diamond grips as under grips

I've bought a few blue chevron grips from them, no issues.
