First B3 for me. Probably first of quite a few!
« on: June 22, 2016, 02:32:44 PM »

I collected something pretty special from DPD/Interlink yesterday afternoon.

Whilst my parents were away and my old favourite split even more, I decided to go for a B3. I was tempted to get a couple of copies made, but these will have to wait. After discussion with David I settled for the following specs. Shape 19 in 2lb8oz. 3 stripe with a semi-oval handle. The results speak for themselves, and the bat is massive for the weight. Fully dressed comes up to 2lb9 exactly. Pings like a gun. I also ordered a middle bat, which also pings beautifully and is made to a great standard of quality.

Many thanks to all at B3 for these beauties, I will be back for more when I have more funds!

Looks a beaut! Is it one of the shapes off the pro list or one of your own design?

Nice shape that, the shoulders look a little thicker than Shape 19.

How is the pick-up?

Very nice bat, white are proving very popular this season (I too have them). Could we get a profile photo showing concaving?

It is off the pro list, shape 19. Pick up is dreamy, will be trying it out tomorrow in the nets but everything feels amazing about it.

I originally wanted navy stickers to go with my clubs training kit and helmets (generic blue adidas from all rounder), but they didn't have them in at the moment, and being in Buckinghamshire I decided a Saltaire sticker set would look daft.

Set me back a very reasonable £350 Palmist, plus the middle bat was £50. My parents don't know about the custom, only the middle bat...

As requested, the back profile. Not hugely concaved, hence why I am surprised how big it is for 2lb9!
