Hi,
Can someone with a masuri do me a huge favour and measure the distance between the screws on the side of the helmet? Much appreciated.

from the middle off the screw to the other middle it is approx 8.2cm

why do you need this

Because I have a Slazenger helmet which wouldn't fit an Ayrtek grill on it so I need to find out whether a Masuri would be the same. Thanks a lot buddy

the Slaz is around 9.9cm. A masuri will be fine

Ah that explains why it wouldn't fit then! Our screws are 80mm apart I think to accomodate our grill. Strange that the slazenger is different to masuri maybe they did it so that the grill wasn't transferable between them and they had to buy a brand specific grill

The Ayrtek grill WILL fit a Masuri but NOT a Slazenger.

Yeh grills fit masuri fine just not slazengers at their bolt distance is larger than most helmets by the sounds of it. Haven't got any masuri helmets that can be used as the 3 iv got have been through bsi testing and therefore have dents etc all over them as with the 3 albions I have!
