Laver & Wood Honeycomb (C-Ten) or Carbo Cane
« on: July 17, 2016, 03:10:00 AM »

Hi guys -

I am having my bat handle replaced by L&W and they have few handle option.  Honeycomb and Carbo Cane sounds interesting from the description, but want you see if anyone actually used it and is it worth to try them out?

Thanks for the input!

The carbo I had on my Gray-Nicholls was the worst handle I've ever experienced.

The honeycomb bit only goes down 1 inch from the top

I've got the Honeycomb handle on my Laver and Wood, and I cannot tell the difference to any other bat I've used with a normal handle.
Honestly think it's a bit of a gimmick

Carbo cane will be stiffer, and lighter. I personally love it.

I have a laver, the handle has a huge section of cork in the centre maybe 1/4 of the whole bat, its fantastic. Completely removed the bobble from the top and is quite thick. Not sure if they still do them.

I have Lavers with both types of handles. Great performing bats!
