Uzi Pro Bat Review
« on: July 18, 2016, 07:44:46 PM »

Evening All,
I thought I would share a little about my latest Uzi pro. Having used some brilliant Uzis for the last three seasons, I was very hesitant to switch brands for my upcoming season.  I got in touch with Uzi Sports and asked Asad to provide something as close as he could to my current match bat.  Not being able to physically get into a store,  I've gotten to a point with Uzi Sports that I actually trust them quite blindly to pick quality sticks for me.  In fact,  I didn't even see pics of this bat before I bought it.  Asad had messaged me when he got his latest bats from his bat makers to say he had something that fit the bill.  I asked to him send it and three days later (international courier) I received the following beauty.  Specs now that I have checked :
Weight: 2.94 (1 grip)
Edges: 41mm
Spine: I have no idea
Ping: I normally take this with a grain on salt in most reviews I read,  where people state it's a trampoline,  gun,  rocket etc before properly playing in a bat.  What I will say is that all my previous Uzi match bats have been brilliant.  Off the Mallet,  this seems very impressive, especially the length of the middle.  Ask me in a few months and I will advise how it actually plays.  For now enjoy the pics.  The last few have my uzi match bat as a comparison.

I can never get it right with a second grip.  I leave that extra bit at the bottom because it naturally settles correctly once I play with it,  the anti grip grip effect I call it.

Beautiful looking sticks - both. couple of questions
i) how much did the new one cost you?
ii) whats the weight on the older black mamba - or is that a green mamba too?

1)  350
2) also a green mamba.  I had hand picked that one when I visited the shop.  Its been an amazing bat.
