Jason Roy's bat
« on: July 20, 2016, 03:53:37 PM »

Not sure how everyone else feels but I think Jason Roy's bat makes an unbelievable sound off the middle.  Do you reckon he went down Sports Direct for his Slazenger or is someone else making them?

I can't remember who he's getting his bats from, was discussed on a thread somewhere if you look for it.

Those with eyes like a Hawk will notice his bats don't come from Sports Direct  ;)

Two peoples two claims?

So do I need a KIP or eyes of a HAWK to figure this out?

It's just cricket should get them in just for Surrey home games

I'm sure it Roy got a score they would fly out the shelves

Hmmm... Do we know definitively which bat maker he uses? Who is Kip? Kippax? Their customer service is poor...they don't respond to emails!

Did you try to order Kippax through allrounder cricket ??

They won't respond to emails (maybe a handful) as they're tied in to an exclusivity agreement with Allrounder.

If you call / get in touch with Chris directly / go down to the factory, you'll find they're more than happy to help. Always been good with others with regards to fixing broken bats (which a lot of the time are down to user error / nets). I'll be popping a couple of Pax's in the for sale area when I get a set of photos. Unfortunately I couldn't adjust from 2lb 9/10 to 2lb 14.
