GN pads vs Salix arma
« on: July 23, 2016, 03:50:54 PM »

Anyone used the GN pads from sports direct. They seem to be resonabally priced but i am bit concerned about how is the protection and what is the medium size fit for a 5.8" tall guy.?

I really like the looks of Salix Arma pads. Are they made in England? Please share where is the cheapest available? is the noraml size a good fit for 5.8" or do they come in medium sizes??

I wouldn't be using cricket direct every time I use them they call me to say whatever I had order was out of stock even if they say they have stock online, I know a lot of people have had the same problem why don't you take a look at prodirectcricket or even a forum sponsor surely they would be able to offer you the same if not better for the exact same price

Cricketdirect are the worst company I have ever used. Bought a bag from them, the handle snapped 2 weeks later, they refused to deal with the refund & return for a faulty product even after I had contacted Kookaburra who said I had to deal with reseller. Thankfully after I showed the evidence of CD's lack of support Kookaburra agreed to send me a new bag FOC.

Second this, got my pair yesterday - top protection and only weigh 790 grams per pad!

I've got the Legend pads and they're beauties. Un/Fortunately not been rapped on the pads yet, so not been able to find out how good they are! (This doesn't include the LBW I've been out for which nipped the left nut...)!

Definitely recommend them - love GN softs.
