I don't think too many would offer it, some would not want you to learn their secrets, some don't make bats, just shape and sand, some just have a pile in the shed still in the boxes from India.

i dont think Mike would be bery popular if he started naming those who just shaped pre-mades, those who imported and those who just apply stickers......it's not whacky hearsay, it's the truth undortunately.
Of course alot of these companies are 'capable' of making bats, but choose not to because it probably saves them time and money.

Wouldn't mind a Pre Made which needs finishing as I've not got the kit to start from a raw cleft, would be nice to see what it would turn out like but guessing it wont be cheap.

Mike has claimed that a company who state they make their own bats, get their bats from india. Maybe he would be kind enough to pm me some names.

What sort of course from the willow cleft to end product?

Or a shaping course and how to use tools....

Or one including the press and what needs to be done at the pressing stage and why, then the shaping stage?

Or one that is inclusive of matching the customer requirements to shape and middle

Or one that is inclusive of why a shape matches the customer requirements

Or one with the whole lot?

Not got a lot of room now to be starting from a raw cleft or the tools to be honest, will have to speak to Mike and see if he can help then.

Its not the fact i need to know as you put it andy. I want to know as i cant or the life of me think who it could be and if mike isnt willing to tell who does this then he cant be 100% sure. if its true as he says then surely the company cant argue if he posts it here?
