Northampton chubbies
« on: August 09, 2016, 06:49:19 PM »

Watching Northants vs Middlesex in T20 and loving the chubbies on show for Northants, Levi, Kliendvielt especially with some timber which in pro spot you don't often see, gives us tubby village players a run for our money. As I say a few extra pounds doesn't mean you can't be good

If there was a correlation between extra pounds and talent Chris, I would be a [no swearing] cricketing genius!!!

Always good to see a 'comfortably built Gent' on the field of play! ;)

Notts seem to have a few players built for comfort rather than speed in their squad; Samit Patel, Luke Fletcher, possibly Steven Mullaney

Kliendvielt is different gravy..
Samit is just big boned thou as me mam says look at the wrists, thick wrist means big boned.

Does take me back a bit thou, botham carried a bit extra as did eddie hemmings, allan lamb.

Allan border was a bit round but top of the thick wrist chart could be david boon-who had the confidence to walk out with a blatant beer gut

Fantastic

Leicestershire's aussie Mark Cosgrove looks like he's wintered well...

Kliendvielt should be playing prop for Northampton Saints, sure he didn't turn up at the wrong ground?. The Northamption conditioning coach needs firing lol. That said they got the result!
