They start at 2lb 15.....

I haven't looked them up (being too big and heavy for me and made by GN) so didn't know that :-[

^ This. XP-70 is lighter than XP-80.

I have been contemplating XP-80. I won't have time to knock it and season is nearly over.

Okay. Teased you enough! Those of you who voted XP-80.... You were right (and it's the cheap one)!

Purchased from Kingsgrove Sports and knocked in by them prior to delivery. It weighs in at 2lb 12oz and the eagle eyed amongst you might recognise that it is a Long Blade. It is half an iPad tall. It's huge. And very, very silly. And I love it!

For a bit of fun, I took it with me to the LMS game tonight where I expected to bat middle order for hits and giggles. And oh did I giggle. The spinner bowled one on my legs and a flick took it over deep midwicket/cow for six. A little flick. I chuckled to myself. Whilst it looks lik eit has a very high middle position, the middle is also huge. What I found fascinating was that the ball marks where all pretty much in the middle where the maximum hump is. Lovely!

I think it may be the silliest bat I have ever bought. It's also very rewarding and hits the ball a very long way. Move over Warner. Tim's in town! :D

That is literally insane! Although for over 450 quid I'd sort of expect it to be haha
