The Warsop Goliath Is A Bit Like Marmite, You Will Either Love It Or Hate It. The Quality Of The Product Is Outstanding And Not In Question, But The Choice Of Decals Will Have Opinions Divided. The Goliath From Warsop Stebbing Retails For £275.00 and you can have it made up in Any specifications that you would prefer. It is made from the very top of the range timber with a narrow grains. I Haven't Seen One Yet Or Had Any Feedback? But This Is What It Looks Like......

Is it too late for a rethink on the stickers....

For a brand that made one of the best bats out there...the platinum...and the best stickers out there....platinum again....this is a real aberration.

Please someone save have a frank and honest discussion  :)

Never quite understand the Warsop stickers, they seem to have a totally different look for each bat they make (just a bit odd really, like why is there a fish on a bat called Goliath?).

Haven't had one personally, but have only heard good things RE performance - just need the designs to match...

The reason for the Marlin bat/stickers is that Mark Pettini was a massive fishing enthusiast and caught a Marlin on holiday once

Similarly, the Minotuar they did a few years ago was an exclusive for Graham Napiers benefit year

I saw one of the  Goliath bats in the workshop the other day and it was a seriously nice piece of willow, I think it's from the same clefts as the Inspire 152 range

As mentioned, the Platinum is a cracking bat/profile and for G1 willow, and I've not seen one that is questionably graded, the price point is great

I agree though, it can get a bit confusing with all the different stickers they have, I saw a guy with monkey stickers the other day, but I think that's because most people go into the workshop to get the bats and can choose your stickers if there aren't any applied

They're fantastic. Nice to have something different. There's a fair chance that what lies beneath is awesome. I think these stickers are fun and designed not for the telly but for the clubbie who doesn't care about looking like a pro.

*sorry for the modifying, I've been at the filet mignon and the Bordeaux...

The Warsop stickers in general really aren't that bad. I've stuck by Warsops for the past three seasons and they've been the best performing bats I've had. For people in the Essex area, it's good to be able to go to their shed and hand pick the bats of the already mades or get a custom made sorted for you.

Visited Warsop on Friday, some cracking bats in there but didn't see any of those! Agree on the stickers, platinum ones are lovely but the other bats not so good. Profiles all seemed surprisingly similar too. I didn't come away with anything but would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who's around there, nice well-priced bats and very welcoming.

Please do not use those!! Stay with platinum and just change colour and name.

I don't worry about stickers if bat is good.
