Evening all

My Saturday team are off to Worcester on a weekends tour and looking for a fixture on the Saturday. We have a Sunday game sorted on the school ground next to new road but are on the hunt for a Saturday fixture to keep us out of the pub!

Sadly I can't make the trip as it's my sons 1st bday on the Monday and the wife won't let me take him with me to wet his head properly! 🤔

i'll ask around, i know the league is still going that weekend. who are you playing on the sunday? the scholl ground is quite nice.

there is also a concert of legends on the saturday at new road. goes on all day if you are unable to find a fixture

i thought it would be OV they seem a decent bunch, used to be former pupils from lings college. ive asked a couple of local clubs but they both have league games that week. i'll let you know if i hear anything else though

Yeah OVs are a lovely bunch, in our league so played them plenty of times over the years - nice ground to play on too.

Sadly it's the same story for my club I'm afraid Tom, league season runs until Sept 17th for us. I would suggest having a look through the teams that are Div 5 and below though, their seasons finish late August so you may find a side keen for a post-season game!

I play for Kempsey - know Hanley well, decent bunch of lads! Used to have some good games between us both.

Sadly I don't get to play as often as I'd like as I don't live in Worcester anymore, normally every month or so (Parents still in Worcs so good enough excuse to get a game in with the lads!)

Thanks lads, our Saturday skipper went away and did cricket without boundaries back in 2014 and an OV player was also away with him on the trip hence the link up to play them now.

They ventured up last year too but I didn't make that either with the wife being 2 weeks overdue 😳
