HS Cricket Bats and Softs
« on: August 18, 2016, 09:54:11 AM »

Just wondering if anyone here has had any personal experience using the HS branded bats or softs?

Made in pakistan, and apparently the brother of CA sports, so was wondering if the quality of bats are on a par with CA or not quite just yet?

Havent seen many been used locally, even though they have invested heavily in sponsoring a few of the Pakistan team.

The quality of HS equipment is as good as CA. I've personally seen pros using the bats. Having used them personally, the softs are very good quality. If you are looking to purchase Pakistani brand, then HS is a very safe choice.

Currently, I am using HS Core 7 pads and Core 5 batting gloves. Both provide an excellent protection and the quality is top notch. If you want, I can try to put up some photos as well.

Few of the Pakistani guys in the LMS league I run use them. Absolutely rave about the quality of the bats, haven't seen any with the softs though. Based in sialkot, I think...

I missed out on an HS bat. Ruler straight grain and an absolute trampoline! The guy who has it now just loves it.

We've rehandled plenty this year, fresh out the packet ;)

Lots of the usual, full of filler, splice not fitted flush, wonky springs etc.

Agree though, nice grains, good performance. Will they last though?

A team mate who's originally from Pakistan has given me a HS bat this week actually, I'll post photos if people were interested. It's had some use, no scuff sheet as of yet and quite grainy. Will be getting refurbished and de-stickered during the winter if it stays in my possession!
