Help Needed On MRF
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:36:39 PM »

I'm hoping someone can help me or point me in the right direction, a friend of mine asked me if i could get him a set of Genuine MRF stickers for his bat and i rather foolishly said i could do that no problems however I'm told that's impossible. I'm now looking to purchase a brand new MRF and save him sending his for a refurb as its pretty well used t say the least.

Hoping to pick up a Genius or Wizard LE cant remember which he currently has but id say either would do, obviously I'm looking for something cheap if possible as i don't wish to tell him i couldn't help as i sort of promised but i had had a few when i agreed.

By the way of cheap i was thinking of a fair bit less than £135.00 not sure if that's realistic but one can only try, not sure why a MRF but I've not owned one so cant comment on them.

I know this isnt exactly what you require, but its cheaper, Grade 1 and if you ask the owner, apparently he will send pictures, so you could ask for the bat to be compared (profile wise) to the bats you are looking for to see if there is any difference?

Thanks but i can get better grade cheaper here in the UK, was hoping someone may have a contact direct with MRF or a Distributor in India, thought about getting some cheap stickers off eBay which looked OK however i feel my friend would notice they had spelt Brian wrong lol.

Looks like i will have to admit defeat on this one and take the stick which will come my way !

knowing Watsonsubcontinenttooty, he won't take risk of buying a bat online from a store based in India or Pakistan. There is no after sale support

Possibly not as once you add p&p and possible customs and vat it could work out at £30-£40 ?

£30-£40 on a set of stickers is pretty shocking if you ask me and i cant see my friend wanting to spend it either. Would be better to buy a new bat and possibly as cheap when you work out stickers plus refurb and including p&p, £77 rough cost of a full refurb including the p&p and stickers and a new bat £100. His bat in my opinion ain't worth a refurb as it must be 3 years old at least.

The Warrior is the same grade as the Genius and Wizard.  Steve Waugh's Aussie range.
