With the season all but over, and the winter nets looming, ours start in a couple of weeks. I wanted to collect some thoughts on kit for winter nets. There may well be other questions but to start;
What balls would people recommend from experience, I suppose my quandary is finding something decent, to not destroy the bats, durable, and relatively modestly priced.
Shoes are a quandary, not found a decent non spiked shoe, the studs that replaced spikes are often skiddy on the hard cour style surface we net on. I tend to end up using trainers and pray not to get a Yorker on the toe.
Finally the bat. Given indoor surfaces are typically quicker than turf wickets, would the use of a lighter bat be advantageous.
