My new Newbery blitz
« on: September 19, 2016, 02:57:18 PM »

After my net yesterday me and @tom line travelled up to see Asad in his bat cave what I found when looking through 100s of bats was a bit special a Newbery blitz I. 2.10 with 50mm edge which just blew me away Asad as always seems to get the pick of the willow just can't believe how this monster taps up and the pick up is crazy feels like 2.8

Next to a 40 MM edge Uzi

Now next to a 44mm sf

Looks incredible this, love the shorter blade profile of the Blitz, a true stunner!

the bat is stupid good it says 2,10 on the scales but feels like nothing ridiculously good and very nice of the mallet as well and almost no concaving

For comparison purposes; what weight is the uzi? Both look brilliant!

The Uzi is 2.10.6 and the sf is 2.9.8 just shows how big the blitz is

Looks very nice, some cleft to get 50mm edges with no or minimal concaving, all the Blitz bats iv seen have been concaved to within an inch if there life to give big edges even saw a Sam Northeast match bat and that was heavily concaved. Asad does seem to get some stunners

This had a small amount of concaving but definitely minimal and far less than any other ones I've seen

How comes there is no grade sticker or do the Blitz bats not have a grade range and just available in single grade willow
