Sometimes I feel like when they design new stuff, Hunts start from the point of view of 'well, we're not going to sell many anyway...' Can't be that hard to find a decent graphic designer, and can't help but think a good one could take a look at Hunts' branding over the years and come up with something top notch.

I agree, I used their bats back in the 90's when they sponsored a team mate. But the designs and colours put me off these days. Of course I may just be getting old.

I don't get how this 'funky neon colours' is supposed to attract the young market....

Isn't it just a bit... lazy.... to suggest that because something is bright pretty colours it's going to attract somebody 13-19? (I assume that is their target audience)

You appear to have spelt "Yuuufff" wrong, old bean!  ;)

Kook Ghost seems to be selling well amongst said Yuuufff. Not exactly luminescent.

Good point...maybe too much generalising going on here.
Thinking back to 18 years old i dont think the stickers on a bat would of made me buy a particular model.
Its a long time ago but probably i would of looked at what older guys i played with were using.
Back then(i think) four or five had SS jumbos(great bats)
Theres a few young guys in my team ive never asked them what makes them buy a particular bat..maybe I will 😀

Labels don't matter when their bats are as good as they are. Their softs are a bargain for what you get and the people at Hunts County are a delight to deal with.

I've seen the shapes and they're great, far better than the muck some of the other brands are peddling.

I think people choose brands on the perception of the brand itself, rather than its individual products. Or atleast I do.

If you wanted me to bundle the big players, I'd probably go:

Yuuufff:

NB
Kook
GM
Spartan

Oldies:

GN
M&H
Newberry
Salix

Inbetweeners:

SS-Ton
H4L
B3
Other Custom (Red Ink et all.)

Yikes. Any pics of the front of the bats?. Less is more for me, the retro branding is spot on. Dont understand all these fancy colours for every new line. Ok maybe for 1 is fine but i would have loved to have seen a simple modernised target/stag stickers. Or something just a a bit less generic and err bright. The names arent really very good either.
