^ Maybe it is a blessing in disguise - time for a better bat.

If its had a full seasons use, seems a tad harsh to expect a replacement

Think I've been at the crease 7/8 times this season, so not much

So if you bought a new car that had a year long warranty, and it broke down after 364 days with 12,000 miles added since you'd picked it up, I take it you wouldn't take advantage of the warranty as it would be "a tad harsh"?

Pics look too big in my browser to hard to see the crack in relation to rest of the bat.

I thought their pressing precludes such edge cracks and breaks.

Even if you can't see the pics well, the other replies should give you more than a hint that he's not talking edge cracks.

Firstly the bats had it a pic  of the face should  help identify storm  damage also the damage without a pic of the vee  and shoulders can't really tell if it's  over tight handle damage  but  the damage  is a little low for an over tight handle maybe the blade was lacking in moisture.

Little low for a handle being too tight when it's cracked right at the bottom of the V where the handle is 😂😂

B3/Streaky looked after me well when I had a bat go right in half after a similar amount of time/use, I'm sure they'll give you a fair response! Always gutting when a bat lets go like that though, commiserations pal.

Actually, one of the visible pictures had a red ball mark on edge hence the "edge crack".

Wasnt aware of warranty on bats. My bad. And using a bat 7/8 times is different to a whole season.

dude why post here when you haven't even given them enough time to reply?? looks like a defect (either in the willow, or with the handling etc), but again, I strongly disagree with posting here - not fair to the bat maker.

I don't see the problem; I've asked a forum full of knowledgeable people for some advice/opinions on a bat and whether it can be fixed or not. If I had said something completely stupid and uncalled for about the batmaker then you'd be right. But I haven't.

@rickjames isn't slagging off B3. He is just asking if there is any life left in his beloved B3. I am sure he will email Streaky and ask if there is anything can be done their end. I don't see anything wrong with this topic.
