If you like the look of the Shrey, but have concerns over the build quality, I'd suggest you wait until the new Masuri is released. I think it will be called the Original, will come in steel and titanium and have a more classic look than the vision series.

I've got a Shrey and it's top class, can't comment on others experience but I'd definitely recommend them

There's the Sachin style helmet , think the brand is called Forma or something similar.  The gn test helmet may be an option.  If you are really struggling for fit , maybe go g.m or kookaburra or s.s , although if you don't like the bulid quality of the Shrey then you'd likely not like the build quality of these either . Have you been trying the larger size in the masuris or the smaller size , as trying the other may bring masuri back into the equation .

I've worn a shrey masterclass air titanium all season so think I'm qualified to comment that the quality seems to be fine on mine. I know it's come in for some criticism here however after so far the only thing is a tiny crease in the corner of one of the blue plastic shrey badges where the grill mounts on the helmet - it does look like these are a bit vulnerable to damage however they're only cosmetic. Comfort is way better than the Masuri VS too, up there with my old Masuri.

Not tried a shrey but have got an Arytek and had a new style masuri. Didnt like the masuri at all and found the extra weight too much to deal with. Went back to the Ayrtek which having a large head fits perfectly for me and is really light (i hav the ti grille and had the ti grille version of the masuri too). That being said i do hav the ACIS version otherwise i may have had the same issue as you with regards to fit

It's a shame you don't seem to have a retailer near you that you can go to try them on. Helmets are so personal, we've all got similarly shaped legs, but everyone's head is very different (pause for sniggering).

If you can't get out to try them on in person, I think the plan of ordering 3 and trailing them is the best idea.

Another vote for Shrey here for what it's worth.

The GM helmets are decent enough, I have one, but I would suggest it may be too small for you if the others are.

I had a GN Atomic of a few years ago. Fit was fine, but having a white painted grill I found my eyes looking at the grill rather than through it. I tend to find that plain metal grills are less distracting.

I didn't know it at the time as I'd only ever used GN Helmets, but after buying my Shrey, when using the GN again it felt "Cheap".

So long as a helmet does a protective job and is forgotten about once worn then I'm happy. If the GN/ GM style aren't markedly less protective then I'll take whatever fits.

An older GM is the only thing I've found so far which was comfortable. Can anyone help me work out what it might have been? It had one larger forehead pad and then either no other padding or very minimal other padding (wasn't paying very good attention!), material covered, slightly flexible thinner peak (not like the new Standard ones), single position Ti grill. Definitely wasn't a Hero or a Hero grill on something else and I think the Ti grill only had one position so that would rule out the GM Ti 3 bar grills. May even be something entirely different or a mix of a few helmets, I've no idea. I'll have to take a closer look if I can borrow it again and do some detective work unless anyone has any ideas off the top of their head

When looking at the shape of headform we wanted to use within the helmet we took the cross section of a head from the average males head size and shape. Obviously this won't fit everyone but we thought it the best option at the time based upon the average male having a 58cm circ.

Sadly I don't have any ACIS helmets in stock as I'm confident it would have catered for your needs as it moulds to the size/shape accordingly when pumping air into the liner.....watch this space pre-Xmas though 😉
