"This old thing? It was an ebay bargain" will do for the moment, but doesn't work so well when a dozen boxes turn up at once :)
Just say it was a job lot they couldn't get in one package ;)

Are the Albion's the ones where it is almost impossible to stop the ball from fitting between the peak and grill? They do look comfortable but if the protection isn't up there then I'll look elsewhere...

If you set the grille to the highest position it's pretty good. Add to that, you can get an ultimate 98 for a bargain now. I got a brand new one for £25 delivered last year. I have one here and 2 back in Australia. Also have 2 plastic Elite helmets back home. Great comfortable light lids.

Can honestly say that I've had no issues with the Shrey Masterclass Air helmet I've been using for the past year and a bit. It is definitely free of the issues that DorsetDan seems to have encountered, perhaps he just received a damaged one. My fave helmets were definitely the older style Masuri, but since changing clubs I had to switch from green to navy and of course since the Phil Hughes tragedy those old Masuris have stopped being produced. For me this Shrey is probably as close as you'll get to that type of hemet...

Go for Forma - It was designed by Sachin himself and many Indian pros are using it at the present. They have also come up with new designs with less gap between the visor and the lid as well as neck protection.
